About the 45C342

The 45C342 unit is an analog input module. This device was brought to the market by Reliance Electric so that it could be used alongside their line of PLCs, which is called AutoMate. This product is no longer supplied by Reliance Electric, but AX Control tends to have it in stock despite that, which will be noted on our website.

The 45C342 analog input module has an operating voltage rating set to a range of 0 to 10 VDC. This applies to all eight of the 45C342 analog input module’s channels.

Located on the top and bottom 45C342 analog input module’s faceplate, you will find tabs that protrude out away from the rest of the module. These tabs are used to easily take the 45C342 analog input module out of the rack in which you have it installed. The tab on the top of the faceplate has the name of the device and its voltage rating range printed onto it. The tab on the bottom of the faceplate has the Reliance Electric logo printed onto it.

Below the top tab, you will find two small LED indicator lights. The first LED indicator light has the label “ACTIVE” to its right, while the other LED indicator light has the label “READY” to its right. The rest of the module’s faceplate is made up of its eight channels.
