The Reliance Electric device that has the model number 45C344 is an analog input module that was made to be used along with the AutoMate family of programmable logic controllers. The 45C344 analog input module has a voltage range of +/- 10 VDC. This voltage range is shown at the top of the module’s faceplate on a small tab that points outward away from the rest of the module. There is another one of these tabs located on the bottom part of the 45C344 analog input module’s faceplate. This tab, however, has the Reliance Electric logo printed directly onto it rather than the voltage rating of the module. These tabs are not simply used for aesthetic purposes, however. When the 45C344 analog input module is placed within a rack, you can use these tabs to safely and easily take the module out.

Below the top tabs, there are two status indicator lights which have labels which read “ACTIVE” and “READY” that are printed on the right side. Below these lights, you will find the module’s channels that come to a total of eight. These channels have numerous labels on their left side that allow the user to understand their specific functions.
