About the 57402
The 57402 AC/DC low power output module was designed and produced by Reliance Electric to be used with the AutoMax series. This product has been discontinued, but it may still be available through AX Control. Call during our business hours to check on the availability and place your order.
The 57402 AC/DC low power output module has a total of 16 inputs and a maximum operating voltage of 132 Volts RMS. The maximum continuous current is 200 mA and the maximum leakage current is 1.0 mA. There is 2500 Volt isolation between the outputs and the logic common. There are four outputs per each of the isolated commons.
There are two main faults that can occur with the 57402 AC/DC low power output module: the Incorrect Data fault and the Bus Error fault. With the incorrect data fault, the device connected to the output is either always off, always on, or acting differently than usual. With the bus error fault, the error codes “31” or “51” through “58” will appear on the LED screen, which indicates that there is a module that is missing, malfunctioning, or in the wrong slot entirely.
When you are ready to install the 57402 AC/DC low power output module, be sure that the conditions of the environment are good enough so that this device can operate properly. When in storage, the temperature can be anywhere between -40 degrees Celsius through 85 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Fahrenheit through 185 degrees Fahrenheit). When the 57402 AC/DC low power output module is installed and ready for operation, the temperature must be between 0 degrees Celsius through 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit through 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and the relative humidity must be between 5% through 90%, non-condensing.
