The 57403 model is a high power output module that was made to be used along with the AutoMax system, both of which were introduced to the market by Reliance Electric. The 57403 high power output module has a total power of 115 VAC. This device is designed to drive up to sixteen 115 Volt control signals from the AutoMax system. This is done by making these control signals behave as if they are outputs. In this situation, the output signal frequency can be either 50 or 60 Hertz. In addition to that, the individual outputs have the rating of a maximum of 2 Amps. The output signals have 2500 Volt isolation to the logic common and the outputs have a high inrush capacity for handling capacitive loads. The 57403 high power output module has four isolated commons. Each of these four commons have four outputs.
In most cases, the 57403 high power output module will be used as a means to output on/off signals to certain devices. Mainly, these devices will be either motor starters or solenoids. This is because these devices require a maximum of 2 Amps current and have a large inrush current requirement, which the 57403 high power output module is perfect at servicing.
