About the 57405
The 57405 is a Reliance Electric AutoMax Analog I/O. This device could have been created by Asea Brown Boveri and Baldor Reliance, depending on when it was manufactured, as part of their product lines. The 57405 can also be found under the part number 057405 or 0-57405.
The 57405 is an Analog I/O controller module. This unit is used as a drive controller module. It is a DCS HD-400 x 36 TUFR mod. This module can be placed onto an AutoMax Card Storage Rack with other things like processor modules, a UDC module, memory modules, power supplies, and an ethernet interface module. The memory module and ethernet card may have an effect on how many card slots are taken up on the rack.
The 57405 is a slim module that is comprised of a circuit board encased in a sturdy enclosure. It has a faceplate that has two mounting brackets; one on the top and one on the bottom. These brackets can secure the 57405 into place on an AutoMax card storage rack. This card secures to the rack using two screws and plugs into card slots on the inner backside of the rack. The faceplate also has an RS-232 female connector that is labeled P4 and TO PMI. There is also a terminal strip that allows for the connection on an interfacing unit. This slot is labeled P3. There is a single LED indicator light labeled OVER SPEED CALIBRATION. The bottom of the board is open to allow for airflow. You can clearly see the circuit board housed in the enclosure. This board looks to be secured using two screws.
