The 57407 was a DCS 5000 Processor made by Reliance Electric. This processor may have also been produced by Baldor Reliance and Asea Brown Boveri depending on when it was in production. It is no longer being supported by the manufacturers. AX Control does try to keep it in stock. Please look at our website to find out if it is available for purchase or not.

The 57407 is a DCS 5000 Processor. This module can only be used with the power supply module 57C493. If this processor module is used, then any additional processors must be a 57407. They can not be mixed with any other type of processor. This unit can be placed on a 6, 10, or 16-slot AutoMax Card Rack. This type of rack comes with cooling fans that will keep the air flowing around the 57407.

The 57407 is a very slim processor. It is a circuit board that comes in a protective enclosure and has a faceplate. It has two Fault Code detectors labeled 1st and 2nd. There is also an OK green LED light. There are two female RS-232 connection ports. Once is labeled LOCAL COMM and the other is labeled PROGRAMMER. This processor can be slid precisely into a female card slot on a storage rack. One it is in place you can then secure it using two screws to attach the brackets on the faceplate to the brackets on the storage rack. On the left side of the protective enclosure is a detailed label that is white.
