About the 57410
The 57410 was an Output Module created for the Reliance Electric product lines. There is a possibility that this module was also generated by Baldor Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri depending on the years it was actually being produced. None of the original companies actually still support this product, but AX Control does try to keep it in stock. When it is in stock, we typically sell it as either a refurbished or new surplus stock item. Please consult our website for the availability of the 57410.
The 57410 was a Multibus I/O System in an AutoMax Distributed Control System. The main function of this module was to provide procedure indication and to recode multichannel output signals for the system. This signal had the ability to control the loop. This module had four analog output channels, a 12-bit D/A resolution, and a selectable voltage or current output. This module also had a 2500-volt isolation with a logic-to-channel and channel-to-channel configuration. This system had an output filter of 100Hz first-order lowpass. Both analog voltage and current signals had the ability to be available per channel.
The 57410 was typically plugged into an AutoMax Multibus Master or Remote Rack. It was comprised of three main components; a protective chassis, a faceplate, and a printed circuit board. This board is plugged into the female circuit board card slots on the backplane of the rack. You then had the capability to mount the module into the storage assembly with two screws using the securing brackets on the faceplate and the rack.
