About the 57415
The 57415 is a Digital Input Module created by Reliance Electric. There is a strong possibility that this module could have been produced and sold under the Baldor Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri line of products depending on what years it was actually being manufactured. This module may be a little hard to locate because it is no longer being supported by these manufacturers. AX Control does still try to keep the 57415 in stock though. We typically sell it as a new surplus or refurbished item. Please check out our website to find out what the availability is for the 57415.
The 57415 is a 12-24V AC/DC Input Module that was used in a DCS 5000 or AutoMax control system. This module has a 50/60HZ input signal. This signal can be expressed in AC or DC current. This module’s primary function is to provide the ability to enter different signals to devices. Typically using on/off signals, this module can communicate with selector or limit switches, pushbuttons, and relay contacts.
The 57415 is primarily constructed in a housing enclosure that consists of a circuit board and a faceplate. You can plug this system into an AutoMax storage rack via the card slots that are located on the backplane of the rack. It has a series of 16 LED indicators that are located on the module’s faceplate. They are numerically labeled from 0-15. These LEDs are in charge of providing the status of the inputs coming into the module. 57C3070 is the cable that you will need to connect the input circuits to the input module.
