The 57430 is a Reliance Electric AutoMax 6010 Processor. Depending on what year it was created, this processor could have also been produced by Asea Brown Boveri or Reliance Electric. Although this processor is no longer being supported by these manufacturers, AX Control does try to keep it in stock. Please check our website for the availability of the 57430.

The 57430 is a Processor Module created for the AutoMax 6010 system. This module has the ability to plug directly into the backplane of an AutoMax storage rack. It can then run programs that will allow it to control other AutoMax modules on the rack. It is possible to have one processor on a single rack or you may have up to four on the rack.

The 57430 has two major system requirements. It needs a CPU speed of 8mHz and a 256K parity RAM. This processor comes with an on-board battery back-up which helps to protect the system from power failures.  This processor can fit into any of the 0-4 slots on the storage rack. If you are housing more than one processor on the rack, you must put a processor in slot 1 or keep it empty, you may not put anything else there. It is desirable to have more than one processor on the rack because it increases the processing capacity and total memory available for task completion. You can use multiple types of AutoMax processors on the same rack. If you do this, it is important to have the most powerful processor in the leftmost spot. This will allow the communication between the processors and the PC to happen at 19200 baud.
