The 57440 is a Card 1 in an Ethernet Communication Module created for the AutoMax DCS system. This card is part of a module that allows communication to occur between an ethernet local area network and an AutoMax DCS. This process allows for the transceiver wires to help with ethernet functions. It also allows for connectivity to fiber optic and broadband modems. The entire module can be mounted into a standard AutoMax storage rack. The storage rack can have up to two of these ethernet modules being controlled by the AutoMax DCS.
The 57440 is a card within the Ethernet Communication Module. The communication module is a very slim device. It comes standard with an ethernet card, an enclosure, and a faceplate. The faceplate on the module has a transceiver port on it and one small LED indicator light that read CARD OK. There are two brackets on the module that allow for easy installation into the storage rack. It attaches to a bracket on the storage rack using two screws.
