The 57493 is a 376-Watt Power Supply made by Reliance Electric. This part was at one point possibly sold by Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor Reliance. The 57493 is no longer being supported by the manufacturers, but AX Control does try to keep this power supply in stock. It is sold as a reconditioned or surplus item. Please check AX Control’s website to see if it is in stock or not.

The 57493 is a Power Supply used on an AutoMax System. This power supply system comes with two key switch keys. This power supply has the ability to convert 115VAC input power into the DC output needed to power everything on an AutoMax Card Storage Rack. This power supply can supply the rack with 376-watts of continuous power. Only one power supply is needed to power the storage rack.

It is important to make sure that the power supply you have chosen is right for the power requirements needed for all of the modules on the rack. If you are using a Common Memory module or a 57C430 Processor in your rack with this power supply, you can also equip a battery back-up unit.

The 57493 is a printed circuit board that has to plug into the left-most slot on a storage rack. This power supply cannot be plugged into a 6-slot rack. It must be used in a 10 or 16-slot rack. This system has a lot on its faceplate. It has two LED indicators labeled POWER and FAULT. There is a key switch labeled PROGRAM, MEMORY PROTECT, and SETUP. There is a backup battery connection slot. There is a place where you can replace the fuse and there is a terminal strip.
