The 57C332 is a Rack Assembly made by Reliance Electric. This rack may have also been in production under the names Asea Brown Boveri and Reliance Electric. This rack is no longer being supported by the original manufacturers. AX Control does try to keep this part in stock though. Please see our website for the availability of this rack assembly.

The 57C332 is a 10 Slot Multibus Rack Assembly that is used with AutoMax Control Systems.  A rack assembly is a necessary component in the AutoMax System. Depending on what type of system you are running, the choice of what type of rack you will want might vary. This rack is the medium-sized option of this type of rack. It holds 10 card slots. This rack comes with a cable management tray, high-capacity cooling fans, and an AC line filter. This is a panel-mount system. This assembly also comes with a power supply for the fans. The fans and power supply are mounted to the bottom of the rack assembly. On the backplane of the rack, two sets of bus lines can be installed.

The main purpose of the 57C332 is to provide a secure housing location for the AutoMax components. This rack is used as a remote I/O chassis. If you install a Power Supply Module, this rack will supply enough power to all of the cards attached to it.

There is a limitation on where cards and modules can be installed on the 57C332. The Power Supply Modules have to go on the left side of the rack. Common Memory Modules can only be in slot 0 if there is more than one processor installed. If there is only one processor, then the Memory modules can do in the even slots. The Processor Modules can only go into slots 0-4.
