The 57C334 was a 6-slot AutoMax 3.5/3-amp, 100/120 VAC, 50/60 HZ Rack Assembly. This type of rack is a vital component of an AutoMax system. You do have the ability to choose different sizes of racks depending on what your system needs are. This is the smallest of the three options of Multibus racks. It only comes with six slots. This assembly comes with an AC line filter, a cable management tray that has high capacity cooling fans installed in it, and custom card guides. The cooling fans are responsible for ensuring that the cards in the main part of the rack assembly do not over-heat.

When you install a separate power supply into the 57C334, the rack then has the capacity to distribute power to all of the cards that it houses. You can mount a variety of cards onto the rack by sliding them into the open side of the rack. They are attached into the P1 and P2 bus card slots on the backplane of the rack and then you can further secure the cards into place using the mounting brackets on the top and bottom edges of the open face on the rack. The cards you will be installing should also come with a set of mounting brackets located on their faceplates. You can use two screws to mount the card and then use these came brackets to help you easily remove the card.
