About the 57C401
The 57C401 is a Digital Drive I/O made by Reliance Electric. This drive may have been also made by Baldor Reliance and/or Asea Brown Boveri depending on when it was created. This device is no longer under production through these companies. However, AX Control does continue to supply the 57C401 and may still have it in stock. We display the availability of this part on our webpage, but please feel free to call or email us directly if you have any questions about its availability and how we can ship it to you.
The 57C401 is a drive I/O module created to go with the AutoMax programmable logic controllers. This module weighs 2 lbs.
The 57C401 has a lot of features on its faceplate. It has 20 rectangular I/O connection ports labeled A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2, E1, E2, F1, F2, G1, G2, H1, H2, H3, I1, I2, and I3. There is a set of 12 LED indicator lights that are labeled A-I. These LEDs are also labeled net, aux 1, aux 2, M status, run, run perm, DFR, FMCR, RMCR, and MCR. These LEDs will glow when the status quo of these inputs is disrupted so that the user will know to check the corresponding I/O connection. There are two dials or key slots that are on the faceplate. One is labeled B, C, D, E, F, and G while the other is labeled numerically 1-3 on the left side and 6-8 on the right.
