About the 57C410
The 57C410 is an Output Module made by Reliance Electric. There is a strong probability that this module could have been created by Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor Reliance. It just all depends on when this item was in production. The original manufacturers are not supporting the 57C410 anymore and it may be difficult to find. AX Control does try to keep this module in stock. Please check our website for the availability status of the 57C410.
The 57C410 was created as part of an AutoMax Distributed Control System as an Isolated Analog Output Module. The primary purpose of this particular product was to provide an indication of procedures and to record output signals in a multichannel system. Using this signal the system had the ability to control the loop. The module had a D/A resolution that was 12-bit, an output that you could select the voltage or current levels, and four output channels that were analog. This module had a configuration that allowed for channel-to-channel and logic-to-channel setups. It also had an isolation level of 2500 volts. The system also had an output filter that was rated as 100HZ and was the first-order lowpass. This module had the ability for analog current and voltage signals to be available per channel.
The 57C410 could be plugged into an AutoMax Multibus Remote Rack or into a Master Rack. It was a circuit card that came with a faceplate and a durable chassis. On the storage rack, there were female card slots that the 57C410 could be slid into. Once you slide it into the rack, then you could attach it to the rack.
