About the 57C439
The 57C439 is a Reliance Electric AutoMax 7010 Distributed Control System. AutoMax processors can be mixed within the same rack and programmed over the DCS-Network. The 57C439 is built with two serial ports and uses a Motorola 68020 microprocessor with a 25 mHz clock rate.
Automax processors offer the ability to adjust program tasks within .5 msec. The unit includes an OK LED and a Battery OK LED that let users know the module and battery are functioning properly.
7010 Automax Processors are designed with lithium battery-backed RAM memory and a total memory of 512K. Up to four processors can fit into each rack. These units require AutoMax Executive v. 2.1J or later, which is a DOS based programming DCS system. Version 2 of this software tool allows for offline application program development and online process monitoring and control of the equipment. This software allows users to edit application tasks, print a hard copy listing of selected applications, sub-divide applications into sub-directories, download and upload selected files to and from the programmer and processor modules, and save and run files and tasks. The 7010 can also work with Windows-based V. 3 and Windows-based V. 4 of this system that offer additional applications and options.
The 57C439 7010 DCS processor can be used with a number of kits including a remote access dial-in kit The 7010 is three to six times faster than a similar 6011 processor.
