About the 57C560
The 57C560 was a PC3000 Processor designed by Reliance Electric. This processor may have also been produced by Asea Brown Boveri and Baldor Reliance for their product lines depending on what year it was actually in production. This product is no longer being supported by these companies anymore, but AX Control does try to keep it in stock. Please review our website for the status of the 57C560.
The 57C560 is the AutoMax PC3000 Processor Board that was created to control a wide variety of the Reliance 3000-style drives. This is just the card and does not come with an optional serial board or the enclosure and power supply. Those things can be found in the packaged version, 57C570. This is a 7010-equivalent processor that has the ability to become an A-B remote I/O and a DCS-NET. It uses a Motorola 68040 CPU and has 370k RAM for application memory. This processor supports three different processing languages. It has a RunBase OS that can be easily updated because you can download it from the net.
The 57C560 comes with the following LED indicator lights: CARD OK, SYSTEM FAULT, NETWORK OK, and RIO OK. It comes with two types of connections; a networking 9-pin D shell and an RIO 3-pin Phoenix. It comes with the ability to interface with a serial I/O card using a Local Bus. It has software that is set with a DCS-NET drop number. When used with an IBM PC, it has a plug and play option and it can transfer information across a PC ISA Bus.
