About the 61C346
The 61C346 is an Analog Rail created by Reliance Electric. This module may have been also mass-produced by Baldor Reliance and/or Asea Brown Boveri. None of these companies are still maintaining the 61C346. AX Control tries to keep it in stock.
The 61C346 is a 4 Input 0-10 Volt Analog Rail Module for an AutoMax DCS, AutoMate system or DCS 5000 system. It has the ability to be used in a drive or process control system using valve actuators, potentiometers, meters, and pressure or flow transducers. This device can be configured to be used as either a rail or a local head when the user flips a switch on the faceplate.
The 61C346 has a faceplate that has many basic features. It has a 12-pin Input connection. It has two LED indicators that are labeled com ok and pwr ok. It has a mode switch that can be switched between Local Head and Rail. It has an Analog Input terminal switch that’s labeled numerically 1-12. Beside these labels are the words V-IN or Common. There is an Input Power connection that is labeled DC+ DC- 24 VDC and L2/N L1 120 VAC. There is also a 250-volt Fuse Type port. It has a box next to it that suggests the operator uses 75mA with a 24VDC and 25mA with a 120VAC.
The 61C346 is housed on an AutoMax rack. It slides into the open face of the rack and slips into the card slots on the backplane of the card rack. You can then use mounting screws to help hold the card into place.
