About the 61C365

The 61C365 is an Output Module made by Reliance Electric. This part may or may not have also been sold by Baldor Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri. This part is no longer being supported by any of these companies and it may be difficult to locate now. AX Control does try to keep this item in stock though as a refurbished or new surplus part.

The 61C365 is a 4-20mA Analog Output Rail Module created for an AutoMate Programmable Logic Control System. This module is meant to plug directly into an AutoMate 15E, 20, or 20E controller and/or a local head. This is a small PLC system, but it has a good deal of system flexibility. You have the option to mix analog rail modules with digital and special I/Os.  This module has lots of features including having 4 channels per module, a 12-bit resolution, it is panel mounted instead of rack-mounted, and it has terminal boards that can be pulled apart. It has the ability to have a stable connection to the controller via a rail cable. It has the ability to be addressed as either a rail or as a local head.

This module has a lot of features on its faceplate. It has a 12-point male output connection. It has two green LEDs labeled pwr ok and com ok. It has a mode switch that allows you to swap the model between the local head and rail modes. It has four channels of analog outputs. These outputs are placed in groups of four. It has an input power connection that is DC -/+ 24 VDC and L2/N and L1 120VAC.
