About the 801463-1R
The 801463-1R is a Rectifier Stack for a VSX Assembly on a MaxPak Plus System. It was initially produced by Reliance Electric and probably offered by ABB and Baldor Reliance as well. This series of parts have been discontinued by Reliance and while it may be hard to locate now, AX Control does make every attempt to ensure the 801463-1R is kept in stock.
The 801463-1R has an AC input of 230/460 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 16.5 amps, and is 3-phase. It has a DC output of 150/300 VDC and is a maximum of 20 amps. This module is also called a field supply.
The 801463-1R is a small black square box that has two open sides. There are six grommets on the left side and right side of the protective enclosure. It has a front cover that is secured into place using 4 screws. If those screws are loosened a little, the front cover can be slid up and then removed. Doing that will reveal a shelf that has a terminal strip with six terminal screws. These terminals are labeled 181, 182, and 183. There are also two cylinders on the shelf with the terminal strip that are just above the terminal strip and are connected to it. There are two large terminals on the other side of the cylinders. On the top and bottom of the backplate of the 801463-1R are factory-drilled holes that can be used along with screws to mount the rectifier. Below the shelf on the 801463-1R is some wiring and a metallic plate.
