About the 805401-3S
The 805401-3S is a Reliance Electric created AutoMax Distribution Power System. This assembly may have also been sold under the ABB and Baldor Reliance product lines. The 805401-3S is a SA3000 AC PMI Card Rack Assembly with a total of 4 slots. It is equipped with a fan assembly. It is 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, and 1.25/2 amps. The slots taken up on the rack should be a PMI power supply, a PMI CPU, a PMI AC power technology module, and a PMI resolver and drive I/O module. There are slots on the backplane of the assembly that these modules can be vertically slid securely into. Once they are in, they can then be further secured using mounting holes/brackets on the modules and the mounting brackets that are on the assembly rack. In order to secure them into place, use two screws one at the bottom and one at the top of the module.
The 805401-3S can then be mounted onto a panel or into a cabinet. Allow for a 10 cm spacing below and above this rack before mounting any other rack assemblies around it. This assembly is only meant for indoor applications and should only be in a cool, clean, and dry area. Be sure that this assembly does not block any other modules or racks.
