The O-57410- model is a 4 channel analog input module that was designed to be used within the AutoMax family of products that were manufactured by Reliance Electric. Although the O-57410- analog input module’s production has stopped and therefore can be difficult to obtain, AX Control may have it in stock, which is noted on our website.

The O-57410- analog input module possesses four total channels which are classified as being 12-bit D/A converter channels. Each channel can individually provide a current output of +/- 5, +/- 8, +/- 10 volts, or a 4-20. Every single one of these four channels have their own independent isolated commons.

In almost every case, the O-57410- analog input module will be utilized to output current signals or voltage to devices like, for example, process controllers and drives.

There are four LEDs on the module’s faceplate that are arranged in the same way as the output terminals that are also on the faceplate. They are labeled using the number one through three which corresponds with the D/A converter channels. When one of the LEDs is lit, then it is indicating that the power supply for the labeled channel is fully operational.

For installation of the O-57410- analog input module, be sure that the power for the system is totally turned off before anything is connected to it. You may then mount a terminal strip onto the panel in a way that the screw terminals can be easily accessed. Fasten the terminal strips using the field wires. Use a screwdriver to place and secure this module into the appropriate rack. Next, the terminal strip connector must be attached to the mating half on the module. After that, the power can be turned on. Be sure that the four LEDs are turned on.
