The O-57411- unit is a resolver input module that is meant to be used in the AutoMax line of products. The O-57411- resolver input module will be utilized as a means of inputting rotary shaft positions for determining shaft velocity or position. This device brings the AutoMax system 12-bit resolution of a single revolution and a 2-bit revolution counter. This resolver position can be sampled from as low as 500 microseconds to 32.767 seconds. 

The O-57411- resolver input module has a faceplate that has a female connector socket and five LED status indicators. There is one LED status indicator that lets the user know whenever the board is operational or malfunctioning. There are also two keyslots that each have six positions for configuration.

The installation of the O-57411- resolver input module is relatively easy. First, be sure to disconnect all power to the system. Insert the O-57411- resolver input module into your rack and, using a screwdriver, secure it in place. You can then mount the terminal strip onto the panel and attach the resolver, leaving the mechanical coupling between the motor and the resolver unconnected. After that, insert the cable assembly’s field terminal connector to the half of the module that is used for mating. Turn on the power to the rack with the resolver mechanically disconnected from the motor. Turn off the power to the rack and the connect the mechanical coupling between the resolver and motor. Lastly, turn the power on to the system for the final time.
