About the O-57419-
Greater Product Series Information
The O-57419- unit is a 5-24 VDC Input Module that was made by Reliance Electric for the AutoMax series of PLCs. If you find yourself in need of this product, then AX Control is the place for you. We typically have this product in stock even though it is no longer being shipped out by Reliance Electric. Generally, this O-57419 Automate Input Industrial Unit device's greater AutoMax PLC product series is treated as a legacy series given the fact that it is not in any way in current active manufacture by its original retailer Reliance.
Hardware Tips and Specifications
- The O-57419- Input Module is designed to accept up to 32 low-level DC input signals, which can range from 5 to 24 volts.
- These inputs can either be NPN open collector outputs or contact closures.
- Both of these configurations demand the use of an external power supply.
- Four of the inputs on the O-57419- Input Module have the ability to be programmed along with latch pulses of 0.7 milliseconds or longer.
- These same inputs also have the ability to be used to generate an interrupt. In addition to all of that, the O-57419- Input Module contains eight isolated commons, which means that there is one common for reach group of four inputs.
In most cases, the O-57419- Input Module will be used to control the power of certain low level DC devices. Examples of these such devices include: relay contacts, thumbwheel switches, push buttons, limit switches, buffered high speed CMOS, buffered LSTTL, and open collector TTL.
Diagnostic Tips and Specifications
As with many of our original Reliance Electric product offerings made available to our extended inventory here, this O-57419 Automate Input Industrial Unit device offers a normal style or Reliance Electric modular assembly that offers numerous visible LED indicators for the displacement of critical functional product conditions:
- The O-57419- Input Module’s faceplate has a total of 32 status indicator LEDs that show the status of each input.
- These input signals will be taken to the module by the use of a multi-conductor cable, which has the module number O-57375-.
- The faceplate is also home to a female connector socket. On the back of the O-57419- Input Module, you will find two edge connectors that are used to attach the module to the system backplane, as mentioned before.
