About the O-57431-
Reliance Electric manufactured three total AutoMax processor modules. These three processor modules have the model numbers O-57430-, O-57431-, and O-57435-. These devices are all very similar aside from a few differences in their specifications, mainly in the both the memory and the speed specifications. The O-57431- processor module is outlined here, but you can click on the links above to be taken to the other two modules’ pages on our website. All three of these processor modules are no longer being produced by Reliance Electric, but AX Control might still have them in stock.
The O-57431- unit is the 6011 processor module, which has a CPU speed of 8 mHz and an internal memory of 512K parity RAM. The O-57431- processor module has its own Motorola 68010 16 bit microprocessor inside of it. This module has been programmed to use high level application languages, specifically Control Block, BASIC, and Ladder Logic. The O-57431- processor module make 300K usable for application programs. This can apply to any of the operating systems that are loaded onto the processor module.
The O-57431- processor module has a faceplate with a few components on it. This faceplate has two D-shell connectors that have 25 pins and are independently isolated. These D-shell connectors are meant to be used for RS-232C serial I/O links. The top port, which is labeled as “PROGRAMMER/PORT B” and the bottom one is labeled as “PORT A.” There is also a small light labeled “BAT.OK,” which illuminates when the on-board lithium AA battery is operational.
