About the O-57493-
The O-57493- unit is an AutoMax Power Supply module that was created and manufactured by Reliance Electric. This product is no longer being made by the original manufacturer. Despite that, however, AX Control makes an effort to supply the O-57493- Power Supply module to our customers, so we may have it in stock. Check on this module’s availability either by looking on our website or by contacting us.
The main purpose of the O-57493- Power Supply module is to convert 115 VAC input power into the DC voltages that are needed to operate the modules that are housed inside of an AutoMax rack. This module is compatible for use with the following AutoMax racks: the 57c332 10-slot rack and the 57c331 16-slot rack. Be aware that this module cannot be used with the 57c334 6-slot rack. These racks house the number of modules as indicated by the amount of slots they have plus the O-57493- Power Supply module. The rack’s Multibus backplane provides the means to have two sets of bus lines for local communication with the AutoMax modules.
The O-57493- Power Supply module has the means to provide up to 376 Watts of continuous input to the modules that reside in the chosen AutoMax rack. Included with the O-57493- Power Supply module will be two keys for the keyswitch. This key switch is used to reset the “OK” signal on the battery back-up. Be sure to reset the “OK” signal in the event that the battery fails or if the cable connected to it is removed. The module’s faceplate, in addition to a key switch, also has two LEDs, a terminal block connector, and a battery back-up connector.
