About the S-67116
The S-67116 is an AutoMax DCS Control A/D Module for a Multibus I/O system created by Reliance Electric.
The S-67116 is also known as an Analog Input Module. It has two input channels, a 500 V isolation input to logic, a 12-bit resolution with polarity, and a 4 to 20 mA current input range. It also has the ability to use software to select input filtering and to sample input rates. It also has program-interrupt capabilities.
The S-67116 has several features on its faceplate. There is a set of 4 LED indicators that are labeled CCLK OK, CCLK Enable, CSD, and IOCK. The CCLK OK indicator is green and the other three are yellow. There is an I/O terminal strip that has 10 I/O ports. These are labeled -15 V, COM, +15 V, COM, +/- 1 V, +/- 10 V, COM +/-1 V, +/-10 V, and there is one without a label. Just above the ports is a dial that is labeled B, C, D, E, F, and G. There is another dial below the ports that is labeled 1-3 and 6-8. The bottom of the module is open exposing 13 resistors and 3 capacitors. There are two slots on the back of the module that can be plugged into card slots on the backplane of a storage rack assembly. On the top and bottom of the faceplate are two brackets that can be used to hold the card, slide it into the rack, secure it to the rack using screws, and then safely remove it from the rack.
