About the DDM-075
The DDM-075 is a 10 HP Electro-Craft BRU Series Digital Servo Drive made by Reliance Electric. This drive was also possibly sold by ABB or Baldor Reliance before being discontinued by all of the original manufacturers. AX Control still attempts to keep the DDM-075 in stock even though it may now be hard to find. It has an alternate part number 9101-1397.
The DDM-075 has the ability to be either single or 3-phase. It has an input of 120/240 VAC @ 50/60 Hz, 28 amps, and 7.5 kilowatts. It has an output of 120/240 VAC @ 0-400 Hz. In single-phase, it has a continuous full load amperage of 15 0-PK and apeak full load amperage of 50 0-PK. In 3-phase it can maintain a continuous full load amperage of 35 0-PK and a peak full load amperage of 75 0-PK.
The DDM-075 has many components on its faceplate. In the top left corner, there is a TB2 terminal strip that is labeled External Shunt. Below that is a larger terminal strip with 12 terminal screws. There is a green DC BUS LED that is located just above it. These terminals can be connected to wiring leading to the DC BUS, the motor, and inputs. There is a 7-segment LED status indicator in the top right corner. Below the LED are 5 ports. These ports are alphanumerically labeled J1-J5. J5 and J4 are RS-232 9-Pin serial ports. J3 is a female auxiliary port. J2 is the female motor encoder port. J1 is a female controller port. On the bottom of the chassis are two fan assemblies that force air to the internal components of the drive.
