Product Description

The DC2-94U is one of several types of DC2 variable speed drives available here within AX Control’s on-hand stock.  These controllers are used in conjunction with Reliance DC drives. 

The DC2-94U should be stored in relative humidity between 5 to 95% where there is no condensation.  The ambient temperature in storage areas should remain between -22 degrees Fahrenheit and +149 degrees Fahrenheit.   Do not store in areas where the atmosphere is highly corrosive.  If stored in a harsh environment, keep the unit in its shipping and storage container. 

The DC2-94U is a basic controller that offers process control and torque control.   The unit also offers operator controls.  It is designed to be used within a NEMA 4/4X/12 enclosure.  This unit offers water-tight conduit hubs, standard.  Additional conduit hubs can be added. 

The DC2-94U includes 50 or 60 cycle power, as shipped.  Short circuit protection via an incoming line fuse can be set up (optional).  The unital also offers line transient protection using the RC circuit and a mounted MOV.   This unit has provisions for remote run/jog.  It also can be remotely started and stopped.  The unit does not include dynamic braking and instead has a coast-to-rest stop.  This unit offers unidirectional operation only.
