Product Description

The 0-48680-319 is a serial comm port printed circuit board for Reliance Electric. 

This is a long rectangular shaped board with mounting holes located in each corner.  The unit is marked with the Reliance logo and also is marked with reference designators to allow for easy identification of components on the surface of the board. 

The 0-48680-319 serial communication board is designed to add serial ports to the associated Reliance Electric system.  Serial ports are designed to allow communication between two devices or two printed circuit boards, so this board essentially acts as an internal communications bridge for the unit it is installed within. 

Please note that the 0-48680-319 is a static-sensitive board and should always be handled carefully from the moment you unpack it throughout its lifetime with you.  We recommend the use of a grounding strip when installing or performing any sort of maintenance on this equipment.
