The 0-49005-1 is one of several CARDPAK Linear Voltage Time Units from Reliance Electric available here at AX Control.  These units are no longer distributed by the OEM, but several versions are kept in our inventory along with other products from Reliance from their MinPak and FlexPak series.  The CARDPAK Engineered DC  Drive system from Reliance is another reliable option for your industrial automation needs. 

The 0-49005-1 works similarly to a step-down converter, in that it can respond to load changes in a fast and efficient manner.  The unit is designed to time/regulate voltage using closed feedback loops.   Data sheets originally provided by Reliance Electric will help with specifics regarding max voltage, overtemperature, and voltage drop. 

The 0-49005-1 is encased in a plastic external carrier case that includes openings to allow for proper airflow.  The front of the unit is marked with the Reliance logo and the part number, as well as with the part identification.  It also has two user-configurable rotary dials that can be set from zero to ten.   The bottom of the case is open to allow the leading edge of the internal circuit board to connect with other components; this edge includes a male connector.  The case also includes two set pins to help seat the unit in place.
