About the 0-49046

The  0-49046 is a Cardpak Amplifier unit designed by Reliance Electric.  This part was also sold under the company name Asea Brown Boveri; however, it is no longer available through the OEM.  We typically have this item in stock here at AX Control.  Please check our online stock notices or with our staff to verify our current stock levels. 

The 0-49046 is designed to transform a control signal--typically from a motion controller--into a higher power voltage for a connected actuator.    The CardPak series is similar to Reliance’s MaxPak and ImPak series of parts. 

The  0-49046 component is designed within an external plastic carrying case that is designed with tophat flanges along its bottom edges.  These flanges include two vertical pins that will help to connect and keep the unit properly positioned after installation. 

The front faceplate of the  0-49046 includes two rotary dials that can be set along a range from zero to ten.  These dials are marked “gain” and “zero set.”  The board also includes the Reliance name and logo, the CARDPak name, and the part number.  The bottom edge of the case is open to allow access to internal circuit boards and to allow for proper air flow.
