About the 0-51377-24
The 0-51377-24 is a Backboard for a MaxPak 8 Slot Rack. It was initially created by Reliance Electric and probably mass-produced and sold by ABB and Baldor Reliance. This PCB is no longer receiving support from any of these original manufacturers. AX Control does attempt to keep the 0-51377-24 in stock as a refurbished or new surplus stock part.
The 0-51377-24 is just the PCB backboard for a MaxPak 8 slot card rack assembly. It is meant to be a replacement board for a MaxPak system as the metal chassis (card cage) does not come with it. The recommended chassis for this backboard replacement is the 800797039B. The rack does not fully cover the 0-51377-24, leaving the terminal strip fully exposed. A 0-54355 tach scaling card (sold separately) attaches to the outside left side of the chassis. A fan assembly system does not come with this rack, but a power supply does.
The 0-51377-24 has over 54 metal pin connectors, 8 long rectangular card slots, and a long terminal I/O strip. There are four factory drilled holes on the board that can be used to mount it into the rack assembly. Wires can be attached to the pin connectors. There are screws on the ends of the card slots that can slide into spaces on the rack. Once installed into the rack, cards can be slid into the card slots on the 0-51377-24 and then be further secured into place using screws to attach them to the mounting brackets on the rack.
