About the 0-51829-2
The 0-51829-2 Linear Voltage Timing Card from Reliance Electric is designed to install into one of the company’s power racks. The unit comes equipped with and connected to a front faceplate that is marked with the board ID number and can be used to secure the board into the rack system via two set screws, located at the top and bottom of the faceplate. The front faceplate also includes the Reliance logo and two variable dials, marked zero to ten. These are connected to potentiometers located along the front board edge via surface wires.
It is important to note that, in some cases, Reliance components have been sold under other company names like Baldor Reliance and Asea Brown Boveri. This should not affect compatibility, since name changes were due to company restructuring. But please check with your original paperwork to ensure this part will be compatible with your current system.
The circuit board portion of the LVT module has an extending connector located opposite the front faceplate. The board itself is marked with a grid pattern (alpha one direction, numeric the other) that takes the place of reference designations. The board is populated with a number of different capacitors, diodes, resistors, and surface wires. The board also includes two small integrated circuits.
