About the 0-51839-11
0-51839-11 IRCM Relay Coil Module Card
The 0-51839-11 is a printed circuit board manufactured by Reliance Electric. The part you are replacing may be marked as Baldor Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri; however, the part number should remain the same (0-51839-11 or 05183911.) This part is no longer produced by the manufacturer.
The 0-51839-11 is a Relay Coil Module Card. The board is designed with a front faceplate that will be visible when the card is inserted into a rack system. The faceplate has seven red LED indicators. These are placed to the left side of the faceplate. Each indicator is individually numbered. When any particular LED is lit, the corresponding relay is ‘on.’ To the right side of the faceplate, there is an eight-position terminal strip. This is labeled “Coil Inputs.” The first seven screw connections are numbered. The eighth is labeled “COM.” The faceplate also includes the board’s number and the Reliance logo.
The connected circuit board is also marked with 0-51839-11. The PCB is marked in a grid pattern. One edge is numbered by fives and the perpendicular edge is lettered. Components include seven relays, surface wiring, diodes, and resistors. The rear edge of the board has a short ‘tail’ extending from it with several conductive tabs. The board is drilled in the center of the rear edge. Refer to publications supplied by Reliance during the time of manufacture for more information. This includes data sheets, product manuals, and user guides. As the original equipment manufacturer, Reliance was responsible for technical support for this product.
