About the 0-51851-3
The 0-51851-3 is a Reliance Electric control card that functions as a PC Control Regulator board. This control card can support up to two daughter boards using a metal rack system at the back edge of the card. The surface of the 0-51851-3 has a large number of small components. The 0-51851-3 uses a wide range of capacitors, different style diodes, different kinds of resistors, integrated circuits, three large induction coils, and a variety of surface wiring styles. Every piece is laid out on a grid pattern. The upper edge labeled using numbers and the left edge (connected to the front panel) is marked using a series of letters. The 0-51851-3 slides into a power rack to function. The back of the card has a small fin with long and short gold lines. These gold lines are called traces and they allow for electricity to flow from the power rack into the circuit board. Ensure that this fin is in the proper place when installing it into the rack of the card will not function. Also, ensure that the circuit board is anchored properly using the two screws on the front panel. To control the 0-51851-3 card, there are four dials with the option for a fifth. The optional dial is marked as IR COMP. The installed dials are marked as CURR. LIMIT, ACCEL. RATE, MAX SPD, and MIN SPD. Each of these dials can go from zero to ten or anywhere in between. Also adjusting one will NOT affect the others.
