About the 0-51865-7
0-51865-7 Reliance Current Loop Driver CLDA
The 0-51865-7 is a circuit board and attached faceplate fabricated by Reliance Electric. This board is most often used in Reliance drives and is typically marked with a Reliance logo. However, in some rare cases, the component may be labeled as coming from Baldor-Reliance or from ABB. In all these cases, the 51865-7 number will still be part of the part ID.
The 0-51865-7 is a Current Loop Driver card. The attached faceplate is empty except for two set screws (top and bottom of the panel) used to lock the component into place within a rack system. These set screws are finger tightened.
The 0-51865-7 has a surface printed with a grid pattern. The short edges of the board are populated by metal frames that are connected by two side pieces and a metal top brace. These connecting pieces support seven auxiliary cards that have been added to the motherboard at a ninety-degree angle. The majority of these cards are Reliance number 52012-4. They are populated by a transistor, by CCR and metal film resistors, by diodes, and by capacitors made from several different materials. The motherboard also has disk capacitors, polyester vinyl, and other capacitors, diodes, and metal film resistors.
Publications originally provided by Reliance Electric will furnish more detailed information on the operation of the 0-51865-7. These publications (manuals/data sheets/user guides) will also have information pertaining to the installation and maintenance of this module. Safety and handling procedures will be available in these publications.
