About the 0-51879
The 0-51879 is a PGAA GATE AMPLIFIER MODULE PCB CIRCUIT BOARD produced by Reliance Electric. The 0-51879 is a power rack style board, meaning the circuit board slides into a power rack to function. The front panel of the 0-51879 has PGAA written at the top left and 0-51879 written on the bottom left for identification purposes while the drive is installed into the power rack. There is a set of four female connectors on the front panel as well. Each female connector has anchor points at the top and bottom to secure the cable that plugs into it. Each port is also labeled: C10, C11, C12, and C13. The circuit board that is connected to the faceplate has six bipolar transistors in a row across the top. In the center of the 0-51879 card is six transformers in a row. The bottom edge of the 0-51879 card has eight dark gray thick film resistors in a row. There are also twelve dark brown carbon compotation resistors and eighteen small bead shaped diodes with a small line at one end, strategically placed around the large components of the circuit board. There is also a large metal wrapped capacitor on the back edge. One edge of the capacitor is behind the bipolar transistors and the other end is behind the row of transformers. The female connectors on the front panel each have a series of wires that connect to various points on the circuit board.
