About the 0-51884
0-51884 LSCA Logic Signal Conditioning Board
The 0-51884 is a Reliance Electric board component manufactured for use within various Reliance drives. This board is no longer manufactured. The board you are replacing may have originally been manufactured by Reliance Electric, by Baldor Reliance, or by Asea Brown Boveri (ABB.) The part number should remain the same.
The 0-51884 functions as a Logic Signal Conditioning Board. The board is fronted by a faceplate with three rotary dials. Each of these dials can be set anywhere between zero to ten. The dials are labeled Tach Calibrate, Reference Calibrate, and Arm. Volt. Calibrate. The front panel also includes two set screws to hold the board in place within the rack, the board number, and the Reliance logo. This faceplate connects to the circuit board via three screws.
The 0-51884 has multiple components. Board components are not marked with reference designators. Each of the rotary dials mentioned above is backed on the rear side of the faceplate with a potentiometer. These potentiometers wire into the board using black and orange braided wires that connect to points on the board. There are several other instances of surface wiring with wiring from point to point on the board. There are disk capacitors, polyester vinyl capacitors, diodes, metal film resistors, transistors, and integrated circuits on the board surface. The board has a tail that extends from the rear edge. This tail is covered by conductive tabs. More information can be found through publications from Reliance like manuals or user guides. Use these publications if more information is needed regarding installation or safety procedures.
