0-51890 DPSA Dual 5.5 Volt Power Supply
The 0-51890 is a Power Supply module fabricated by Reliance Electric.
The 0-51890 module includes an extra-wide front faceplate. The faceplate includes two toggle switches located in its center, one labeled 1 Amp and the other labeled 5 Amp. Each switch is paired with a red LED indicator and a slotted adjusting knob. The faceplate has a terminal strip running down both its right and left sides. The left terminal strip is numbered one through eleven and the right is numbered twelve through twenty-two. Both terminal strips include a cover.
The front faceplate attaches to a frame that creates a box with components inside and out of it. If looking at the front of the whole, the left side of this module is populated by two large heat sinks held to a metal carrier by standoffs. Directly to the rear is a second metal carrier with two double terminal strips attached to its exterior. These terminal strips have multiple surface wires attached. If looking from the front, the right side of the module is a circuit board component mounted to the framework using multiple screw connections. This board has a printed grid pattern on its surface and carries components on its surface like transistors (including a bipolar transistor,) resistors, capacitors, and terminal pins. A significant number of wires connect to this board via the front edge and from the inside of the module through a drilled opening in the right bottom corner.
