0-51890-6 DPSG Phase Sequence board

The 0-51890-6 is a module manufactured by Reliance Electric.  This circuit board and the attached faceplate is designed for use in Reliance drives.

The 0-51890-6 functions as a Phase Sequence board.  The attached faceplate is populated by a single light component that is placed in the upper third of the panel, and a four-screw terminal strip located in the bottom third.  Both of these components wire into the board using surface wires. The panel also has two set screws designed to lock the module in place in the rack system. These are typically finger-tightened.

The 0-51890-6 is populated by three transformers mounted into frames.  Each transformer is marked TR-11968. The frames of these components screw to the board surface.  Each transformer has several multi-colored wires that connect to the board’s surface. The board has carbon composite resistors, metal film resistors, and a single wire wound resistor.  It has capacitors made from several different materials including polyester vinyl and aluminum electrolytic. Several of these components require secondary support and are connected to the board using zip ties.  The board also has several rows of diodes. A metal plate is mounted to two standoffs near the rear board edge.
