About the 0-51901
0-51901 Armature Regulator Drive Card
The 0-51901 is a board component manufactured by Reliance Electric. This PCB is typically used within Reliance Electric drive systems. In some cases, the 0-51901 may be marked with manufacturer marks from ABB, otherwise known as Asea Brown Boveri, or from Baldor-Reliance. The part will still reflect the 51901 number.
The 0-51901 functions as an Armature Regulator Drive board. Unlike most PCBs in this series, the 0-51901 has a backplane connector along its long edge rather than along its short edge. This connector is designed as an extending stub with multiple conductive tabs along its surface. If this is considered the rear edge of the board, the front edge of the board is populated by two relays and four potentiometers. The potentiometers are labeled 1P through 4P. The relays are labeled 48 VDC and 115 VAC. Each of these relays connects to the board using surface wiring.
Other components on the surface of the 0-51901 include transistors, capacitors, and resistors, as well as diodes. Capacitors are of several materials, including polyester vinyl, ceramic, and aluminum electrolytic. Capacitors tend to be made from carbon composite material, but other types of resistors exist on the board. The board is drilled in several locations. Its surface is marked with a grid pattern. If more detailed information is needed, especially information regarding installation or board operation, please consult publications originally provided by Reliance for the technical support of this product. This includes user guides and manuals. Information regarding proper handling procedures will be available within these publications.
