About the 0-52712-1
0-52712-1 Reliance Electric Output Board
The 0-52712-1 is a Reliance Electric Output Board. This part is sometimes listed as coming from Baldor-Reliance or sometimes from ABB/Asea Brown Boveri. The 52711-8 part number remains the same regardless of manufacturer. The 0-52712-1 is designed to be used within Reliance drives.
The 0-52712-1 functions as an Output Board. Unlike many boards in this series, the 0-52712-1 does not have an attached front faceplate. Instead, the 0-52712-1 has a narrow front edge that extends from the board and has an oval cutout so it looks and acts like a handle. The board has five sides. It is essentially a rectangle with one edge cut away. This board edge is populated by a large black component that functions as the board’s output component. On the board behind this component, the board has four drill holes, two labeled Line and two labeled Com.
Other components located on the surface of the 0-52712-1 include four integrated circuits, fourteen carbon composite resistors, three diodes, six transistors, surface wires, two ceramic disk capacitors, and other resistors. The board is marked with a grid pattern that covers the entire surface of the board. This is marked zero to 35 in one direction and A through BN in the other. The board is factory drilled to allow for mounting in two corners.
More information regarding the operation of this component may be found through Reliance publications. User guides and manuals will offer more detailed information and instructions on installation and maintenance. Please read and follow handling procedures.
