About the 0-52821
0-52821 RPOA
The 0-52821 board is a Reliance module component manufactured for use within various drive systems manufactured by that company and other compatible drives. The 0-52821 is a single board component with an attached faceplate. Typically, this is marked with the Reliance logo; however, in some cases, it may be marked as being manufactured by ABB or by Baldor-Reliance.
The faceplate attached to the 0-52821 has two red LED indicators inserted into its top third. These are labeled “power” and “data valid.” The bottom right edge is populated by a six-screw terminal strip that is then covered by its own removable cover held on by two screws. The screw connections on this component are individually labeled as 189, 188 (both labeled 115 VAC,) 56+, 57- (both labeled Aux Pwr,) 4-, 3+ (both labeled Serial Data Input.) The faceplate also includes two set screws to lock the circuit board into a rack system. These are placed at the top and bottom of the faceplate.
The board portion of the 0-52821 connects to the faceplate using screw connections. It is populated by a TR-12174 411027-5-R transformer that connects to the board using various colored wire connections. It has several transistors, twelve integrated circuits, diodes, resistors, and capacitors. Capacitors include disk capacitors. The board also has two lines of MOVS (metal oxide varistors) located toward the board’s back edge. There are eight resistor network arrays on the board, along with several pin connections. The board’s surface is printed in a grid pattern. More information about how this board operates or detailed installation instructions may be found through technical support publications from Reliance Electric like manuals and user guides.
