About the 0-52824
0-52824 CLRA Current Loop Regulator
The 0-52824 is a Reliance Electric circuit board fabricated for use within their drive systems. While this board is most often marked with the Reliance logo, in some cases it may carry the Baldor-Reliance or ABB logo in its place; this is due to changes in company structure. The number 52824 will always be reflected in the part id.
The 0-52824 is a Current Loop Regulator board. It is designed with an attached front faceplate that has a set screw at the top and bottom to lock the circuit board into place within the rack system. The faceplate includes three red LED indicators--one on the top third of the board and two on the bottom third--with two rotary dials placed between these indicators. The LEDs are labeled as gain limit, 1, and 2. The dials are labeled rate and gain. Each of the rotary dials connects to a potentiometer located behind the faceplate on the PCB’s surface.
The 0-52824 is marked with a grid pattern. This has one axis marked by letters and the other marked by numbers. The circuit board has over twenty-five integrated circuits including NAND gates, high-performance analog operational amplifiers, and XNOR gates. Several TP test points are used, along with metal film resistors, capacitors made from different materials, transistors, and a backplane connector. The code 802286-16A is printed on the rear surface of the board.
