About the 0-52839
0-52839 Reliance Board TSSA
The 0-52839 is a Reliance Electric Tester board with selector switches (TSSA.) The board was manufactured for use in the company’s drive systems, most often the MakPak Plus. This board connects to the Reliance motherboard (51377-31.)
The 0-52839 has very few components on its surface. It has a connected front faceplate with two set screws to lock the board into place within the rack system. This faceplate also has a single rotary dial that connects to a potentiometer on the board’s surface just behind the faceplate. The dial can be set anywhere from zero to ten. Other components mounted into the faceplate include eight black and two white push buttons. These connect two components of different lengths located behind the faceplate. The push buttons are labeled A8, A4, A2, A1, B8, B4, B2, B1, +, and Off.
The surface of the 0-52839 circuit board is printed with a grid pattern over its surface. The rear edge extends in a tab that is covered with a conductive material. The board has a few resistors but is otherwise empty of components beyond those mentioned in the paragraph above. The rear surface is marked with several codes.
