About the 0-52840
0-52840 CCCA board
The 0-52840, fabricated by Reliance Electric LTD for use in the company’s drives, is a CCCA board. The board is typically marked as a Reliance component, but it is possible your original component shipped from either Asea Brown Boveri or from Baldor-Reliance due to changes in the company structure. If there is any question about compatibility between your current board and our listing, please contact our team before placing your order.
The 0-52840 module includes a front faceplate with mounted components and an attached (via three screws) circuit board. The circuit board part of this module has multiple terminal pins marked off on the board’s surface by printed boxes. Each of these boxes is individually labeled by the function it represents. The board also has several capacitors, made usually of polyester vinyl or ceramic materials, resistors, diodes, and surface wiring. The rear edge extends as a conductive backplane connector. The front board edge is populated by a line of eight potentiometers that connect to faceplate components. The edges of the board are marked with hash marks labeled with letters and/or numbers.
The faceplate of the 0-52840 includes eight rotary dials and two set screws. The screws allow the board to be locked into place within a rack system. Seven of the rotary dials can be set on a range from zero to ten. The eighth dial works on a +/- scale. Each dial is individually labeled.
