About the 0-52840-376
0-52840-376
The 0-52840-376 is a board component designed for use within Reliance Electric LTD drives.
The 0-52840-376 is designed as a narrow faceplate married to a circuit board. The faceplate is populated by a set screw top and bottom to lock the module in place once it is installed in a rack system, along with eight rotary dials. This includes one dial that can be set on a +/- scale and seven dials that can be set from zero to ten. The dials are labeled IP, Rate, Stab, Ref Cal, Tach Cal, Max Arm Volt, and Flo Cur. Each dial is connected to a potentiometer on the circuit board’s leading edge.
The surface of the 0-52840-376 is printed as a series of boxes. These boxes sometimes have an overall label for the components within them, and sometimes the components within the boxes are specifically labeled. Some of these labels include Jog Function, Current Limit, Current Loop, and Speed Comp. The board is populated by fields of terminal pins, along with several polyester vinyl type capacitors, metal film resistors, and surface wiring. The board has a back edge that extends in a conductive tab that functions as a backplane connector. The rear surface is imprinted with other codes and information.
For more information about how this board operates, please refer to tech support publications like data sheets and user guides. These publications may be available from their original provider, Reliance, or they may be currently available through Baldor-Reliance or from ABB (Asea Brown Boveri.)
