The 0-52840-57 is a board component fabricated by Reliance Electric.  This circuit board is used in Reliance drive systems. While this circuit board typically originates from Reliance, in some cases, the manufacturer may be either Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor-Reliance.  “52840-57” will always appear in the part id.

The 0-52840-57 is a rectangular circuit board with a conductive backplane connector and an attached faceplate.  The faceplate of the 0-52840-57 has eight rotary dial components placed in its surface. These are each individually labeled.  The front panel also includes two set screws, top and bottom, that lock the module into place once it is inserted into a rack system.

The board portion of the 0-52840-57 is sparsely populated with components.   The board has several diodes and metal film resistors. It has two large polyester vinyl capacitors and several smaller capacitors.  The rest of the board is primarily populated by brass vertical pin connectors. Some components are marked with reference designators, but others only carry their manufacturer part numbers.
