About the 0-52840-64
0-52840-64 CCC Card
The 0-52840-64, which is manufactured by Reliance Electric, is comprised of a faceplate attached to a circuit board with a conductive backplane. While this board normally is marked with a Reliance logo, in some rare cases the manufacturer may be Baldor-Reliance or ABB. The board id will reflect the 52840-64 number in each of these cases.
The 0-52840-64 has a narrow faceplate attached using screws to the front edge of the circuit board. The faceplate has eight dials mounted into its surface. The bottom dial is labeled ‘zero’ and can be set on a +/- scale. The other seven dials can be set on a scale from zero to ten. These are labeled 1P/rate/stab/ref cal/tach cal/max arm volt/ flo cur. The panel also includes two screw connections to latch the component into place within the rack system.
The rear edge of the 0-52840-64 is marked with the code 801410-90A 09. It is also marked PEC 1 211. The front of the board has multiple components, including eight potentiometers that line up along the board’s front edge. These connect to the dials mounted in the faceplate. Behind these, the board is printed with various interconnected boxes. Some labels that occur within these include R05 Stab, R01 Range, R03 Lag, Current Limit, Major Loop Compensate, R04 Lead, Over Load, Seq. Delay, and Jog Function. These boxes may be populated by quick connect vertical pins, by surface wiring, by metal film resistors, or by capacitors made from various materials. There are drill points at several places within the body of the board; these are typically used for secondary support of components which may or may not be used on this version of the board. Please be aware there are multiple versions of CCC circuit board available within this board series.
